This annual platform of exchange has developed into an important meeting place to obtain current and useful information in science, practice and health policy and is becoming and recognized as the most influential event in Medical Acupuncture worldwide.

Medical Acupuncture is an integrative approach between western and eastern medicine and medical technique. It is also a process on which all of us have been actively working on, documented by the history of ICMART since 1983. Starting with a group of pioneers this umbrella organization has now grown to about 90 medical acupuncture associations worldwide and has become the number one in Medical Acupuncture.
Congress Scientific Program

• The clinical aspect of acupuncture

It focuses on an in-depth analysis of acupuncture in practice: on the number and diversification of cases, treatment results, treatment repetition and follow-up consolidation data.

• The research on acupuncture and/or combined treatments

It deals with all the new data of acupuncture research and those derived from cases when acupuncture is applied along with other treatments. These data include the number of sessions, goals, statistics, weak points and follow up.

• The contemporary practice of veterinary acupuncture

This year we initiate a new separate part in the congress program: veterinary acupuncture. It concentrates on the goals, weak points and conclusive data of the most recent cases of animal treatment.

• Neural therapy

It investigates non responders in acupuncture and analyzes the role of neural therapy as an integral part of regulation medicine.
