International Conference: Conflict and Reconciliation in Groups, Couples, Families and Society

24 - 27 May 2012, 
All members of the EFPP, the members of affiliated Associations and those from other Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Associations, and mental health professionals, are invited to the EFPP combined Conference of the Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy and the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Couple Family Sections, which will be held in Athens, Greece, 24 - 27 of May 2012.

The Athens Conference will be co-organized with the Hellenic Society of Group Analysis and Family Therapy.
The Conference will provide the framework for exploring the theme of ‘Conflict and Reconciliation' from the theoretical and clinical perspective through lectures, panel presentations, round tables and workshops, as well as through the participation in small and large experiential groups. The Conference also hopes to provide all participants with a platform for enhancing the development of collaboration and networking.
Starting from the 2012 EFPP Conference in Athens, a special trainees' award will be given to the best paper submitted and presented at the conference. Trainees' papers will be presented in special sessions to be chaired by Group and Couple and Family Training psychotherapists. Papers submitted by trainees will be evaluated by the Awards Committee in advance of the conference. The awardee will be granted free attendance at the conference and the opportunity for his/her paper to be published in the EFPP e-journal.
