
The B. & M. Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts and Music presents a unique exhibition, from September 7th to 23rd, showcasing around 200 original old maps
from the prestigious private collection of the Professor Panayotis N. Soucacos. The maps on display in the three exhibition halls of the B & M Theocharakis Foundation focus on mapping the wider Greek area and the eastern Mediterranean including some of the most representative examples of the evolution of cartography from the 15th to the 19th century. Among them, maps of land and insular regions, historical, religious and satirical maps, faceplates and title pages from high quality cartographic publications.
