AEGINA FISTIKI FESTIVAL (PROGRAMME 2012)

The Aegina Fistiki Fest was the dream of a group of people who believed that the pistachio tree, the nut and its farmers, could and should, get the recognition they deserve for their contribution to Aegina’s development. That dream was taken on board by a large group of volunteers who worked to make the pistachio festival a reality, and this year is its fourth consecutive year. The festival’s organization has surpassed all expectations on the commercial, artistic and just plain enjoyment levels!

The Aegina Fistiki Fest was confirmed as an institution and is co-organised by the Municipality of Aegina under the auspices of the Saronic Islands Regional Union. With the cooperation of the growers and other groups concerned in the production, with the involvement of the artists and the multitude of volunteers, we are sure that the Aegina Fistiki Fest of 2012 will turn out to be, yet again, the Saronic Gulf’s major event of the year!
