Pieces by Stephen Antonakos, Ben, Louise Bourgeois, Georges Braque, Alexander Calder, César, Giorgio de Chirico, Jean Cocteau, André Derain, Max Ernst, Ablerto Giacometti, Keith Haring, Jeff Koons, Fernand Leger, Roy Lichtenstein, Yoko Ono, Pablo Picasso and Man Ray, are just some of the works shown, most of which form part of exhibition curator Diane Venet’s personal collection and constitute a fresh exploration of the links between what a silversmith does and art.
The exhibition has already been on show in France and the US. For its Greek showing, the collection will be shown alongside works by artists who experimented with the form of jewellery.
